The interest aroused by the restoration and the variety of activities fostered by the Santa María Cathedral Foundation have been the driving force behind the recovery of pride in Old Cathedral. To involve citizens directly, the Foundation manages the Circle of Founders, a programme that enables individuals and companies to become small-scale sponsors of restoration tasks and cultural activities.
Membership in the Circle provides advantages in activities related to the restoration of the Cathedral, preference in events and conferences, free access to guided tours and discounts for members’ companions, discounts at the cathedral shop, a 20% tax deduction on the amounts paid and the satisfaction of participating in what has become an integrating and symbolic project for citizens.
There are two minimum annual contributions: 50 or 100 euros.
DATA PROTECTION
In accordance with the provisions of European Regulation 679/16 on Personal Data Protection (LOPD), the data provided by the User will be incorporated into an automated file, which will be processed exclusively for the purpose described. This data will be collected through the corresponding forms, which will only contain the fields essential for providing the service required by the user.
Personal data will be treated with the appropriate degree of protection, according to European Regulation 679/16, taking the necessary security measures to prevent alteration, loss, processing or unauthorized access by third parties who might use it for purposes other than those that have been approved by the User. In the event that it is considered appropriate to transfer personal data to other entities, the User will be explicitly informed of the purpose of the file, the transferred information and the name and address of the transferee, so that they can give their unequivocal consent for this project.
Finally, the User may exercise their rights of opposition, access, rectification and cancellation in compliance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act, or may simply enquire or make a personal comment in this regard, by sending an email notification to the address: protecciondatos@catedralvitoria.eus, without this service presupposing any compensation under any circumstances, or to the offices of the Santa María Cathedral Foundation, C\ Cuchilleria 93 01001 Vitoria-Gasteiz.
