Upcoming lectures in the ‘Encounters with the Cathedral’

Vitoria-Gasteiz, 16 February 2007. The Santa María Cathedral Foundation has prepared an important cultural programme for the next few months within the framework of the “ENCOUNTERS WITH THE CATHEDRAL” cycle. The first three events on the programme are lectures by the writers Ildefonso Falcones, author of the successful novel “La Catedral del Mar” (“The Cathedral of the Sea”), José Luis Oliazola, Planeta Award for “La Guerra del General Escobar”, and Ramiro Pinilla, recent winner of the Spanish Narrative Award.

Date: Monday, 26 February.
Place: Villa Suso Palace.
Time: 20:00 hours.

Lecture by writer RAMIRO PINILLA,
Spanish Narrative Award for “Las cenizas del hierro”.
Date: Wednesday, 28 February.
Place: Villa Suso Palace.
Time: 20:00 hours.

Lecture by writer ILDEFONSO FALCONES,
Author of “La Catedral del Mar” (“The Cathedral of the Sea”), with more than one million copies sold.
Date: Thursday, 1 March
Place: Santa María Cathedral.
Time: 20:00 hours.

Those interested in attending the lectures are invited to collect their invitations from Friday, 16 February at the Santa María Cathedral Visitors Centre (Plaza de la Burullería), from 10:30h to 14:00h and from 17:30h to 20:00h.
