Jesús María González de Zárate,
professor of Art History at the University of the Basque Country, will
be giving a conference at Aula Fundación Caja Vital Kutxa (Centro
Comercial Dendaraba) on Thursday, tomorrow.
Entitled La Catedral de Santa María; Iconografía de sus tímpanos [Santa
Maria Cathedral; the iconography of its tympanum], the conference will
be presented by Juan Ignacio Lasagabaster, director-manager
of Fundación Catedral Santa María and introduce a new interpretation of
the portico’s iconography.
Admission will be free until seating capacity has been reached,
although members of Santa María Cathedral’s Founders Circle will have
priority admission until 7:45 p.m..
