Winners of `Once upon a time there was a cathedral` short story competition

2009/12/04 Short story competition: jury`s certificate

Having reviewed the works presented to the short story Competition 'Once upon a time there was a Cathedral', organised by Fundación Catedral Santa María Fundazioa, the jury has decided the following: 




  • - In the category '18 years of age and older in Basque' the winner was Raúl Martínez Moreno with his story entitled 'Enarak Urtarrilean'.





The runner-up was Garbiñe Delgado with the story 'Airam'.There were only two entries in this category.




  • - To declare the category 'From 12 to 17 years of age in Basque' void.



  • - In the category '18 years of age and older in Spanish' the first prize went to Eduardo Valle Pinedo with '¿Acaso tenéis prisa?'.





The second prize was for Javier Latorre Guinea with 'Recuerde el Alma'.And the third prize went to Noa García López with 'El escudero y la princesa'.




  • - To declare the category 'From 12 to 17 years of age in Spanish' void.





 The prize will consist of the publication of a book that over the years will compile the works in a Short Story Treasury linked to Santa María Cathedral. Furthermore, all participating stories will be published on the Foundation's website. The jury appreciates the quality of all the works presented, and thanks all the participants for their collaboration
