Vitoria- Gasteiz, 28th December 2010.- The Santiago Chapel in Santa Maria Cathedral, Santa María parish church nowadays, will receive on Thursday a mass for saying goodbye to this Holy Year. The ceremony will begin at 17.30pm and will be officiated by Jose Angel Lopez de Lacalle, who is the parish priest of Santa María, and also a member of Chapter. At the end of the mass there will be a concert of gregorian chant directed by Ismael Cuesta. The access to the parish church is in Santa Maria Square, in Las Escuelas St.
This Holy Year began in the same chapel in Santa Maria parish church on the 3rd January. During this year, Vitoria and Alava have claimed the importance of the interior St. James Way, and have also received a lot of pilgrims.
