Santa Maria Cathedral Foundation has organised conferences and workshop for the children on April

2011/04/04  The World Heritage Day will be celebrated on 18th April and all the visits to the Cathedral will be free

            Vitoria- Gasteiz, 4th April 2011.- Santa Maria Cathedral Foundation begins in springtime again it´s cultural program. The first conference will be the one about the Cathedral of Leon, and Jose Manuel Rodriguez Montañés, the responsible of the cultural project ´El Sueño de la Luz´, will explain this interesting work. The conference will take place on 5th April at 8pm in Luis de Ajuria Hall.
On 11th April, the writer Montserrat Rico will offer another conference titled ´ The Renaissance Rome. Memory of light and shadow´. It will be also at 8pm in Luis de Ajuria Hall. The entrance is free.

On 18th April we will celebrate the World Heritage Day making free all the visits to the cathedral, but it is necessary to make a reservation in www.catedralvitoria.com or 945 255 135.

Workshop for the children

It has been organised for the 26th and 27th April for children between 8 and 11 years old, from 10am until 1pm. The price is 8€ for the members of the Founder´s Circle and 12€ for the rest. The workshop will be bilingual in spanish and basque. The first day will be dedicated to the polychromies, and the second one to the medieval city wall.
